Welcome
Founded in 2019, The Cat Lounge™ Rescue and Adoption Center strives to reimagine the shelter experience by creating a living room environment where cats are free to roam around and interact with the public.
We rescue cats from high-kill shelters throughout Southern California and partner with other rescues to provide a safe haven for cats that would have been euthanized otherwise. We hold a public forum to educate the community on the importance of adoption, while giving them a setting to see our work in action.
We provide full medical care and socialization for every cat we take under our care.
- San Diego's first & only nonprofit Cat Lounge™
- Cage-free, living-room environment
- Full medical care for every cat

Your Support in Action
We strive to save cats from high-kill shelters and give them the forever home they deserve. Your continuous support has helped us accomplish the following:
- Provided cats with $64,000 worth of medical care — including vaccines, spay and neuter, medications, and treatment
- Rescued over 6,200 cats since November 2019
- Maintained our safe-haven home for rescued cats
- 100% of donations go towards the care of the cats — and may be tax-deductible
